New Inventions Showcase

Presented By:

Arena #3 - The Co-operators Centre

The Western Canada Farm Progress Show is the place to see the latest advancements in farming technology. Visitors at the Show can easily get a preview of what tools are becoming available to make their jobs easier.

The New Inventions Showcase is a focal point of the Western Farm Progress Show every year. This year will most likely feature about 40 new products that will be available from over a dozen companies for the first time. They could range from such past inventions as wheel lugs for antique tractors to infrared and remote control technology. Many of the products will be designed to reduce environmental impact, such as drift reducing nozzles for sprayers, a tool for reclaiming and rejuvenating pasture or technology that allows old air seeder tanks to be transformed into portable watering systems for livestock. Others could make tough jobs easier, such as a gate that lifts vertically from even heavy snow by remote control, and machines that move augers, barrels and other heavy items. And some could just make life a little easier, such as a metric/imperial converter, an automatic corral gate closer and a handheld scoop that doubles as a scale.

The New Inventions Showcase will be located in Co-operators Center, Arena #3.
